I should of asked opinions of residents before moving here. First home comes with a lot of excitement though so I was eager to take it.
Alright I can't call this home because it isn't the treatment I like. The A/C unit starts to leak soon after moving in. The carpet was wet. I didn't think much of it for a while. Nothing more than... Oooh gawsh I hate getting up in the morning *yawn* and the wet carpet makes me cold, Gurr. Lived with it for a week and then I realized "Wet Carpet'"!!!!!!!! Oh dear.
Alright soooo I went to the main office, told them my woes and they said they'd send someone out. Sooo they sent someone to come fix the place. I do have my opinions about if he is qualified to even touch my door knob. *cough NO* :[ I don't wanna be mean to him though, he was a nice guy though, just trying to make some money. I'm not mad at him though, I'm upset with the Lane at Towne Crossing. So they fixed that A/C unit. No problems but I was left wondering when they are going to come back and fix the carpet they pulled up. Gee.. 4 months later I have no carpet in the entry closet. Walls are so ugly/nasty looking in the closet from the water. They sort of leave me to fix it on my own. They don't come back and finish jobs!
Carpet job is embarrassing right now. I hate to invite people over. Sounds stupid but I fear hearing "My gawsh, your carpet around the walls looks rediculous. Come on honey lets go." Whatever Ughhh!
Alllright. So carpet stays looking stupid. While that is going on something elllse is going on.
Okay not much water pressure in the hallway bathroom for the cold water in the sink. Alright so I finally complain and ask them to fix it and *cough* the door knob which was a security hazard. It was close to coming off. I screwed it back in many times but.. Noooooo I'm at the Lane at Towne Crossing. : [ It has to come off again. Alright so I let the apartment know about the water pressure and.... the door knob. they fixed it properly and promptly. They even left a work order or something for me. I thought it was nice. They did a good job this time, I don't know what happened. So I was impressed by that. Alright but that was a week ago and right now it is 6:36pm on Thanksgiving, 2003. Family time huh' nah.. I have to wait for a call back from Emergency Maintence because there is another leak. I just came home. I stood on the porch watching water flow down my porch. Slowly, but it did flow. I don't know what is going on. I asked my neighbors if they cared to throw in their opinion. We stood there looking and scratching our heads. Mmmmmmm yup i invited him inside and he was the first to notice my carpet was wet. I didn't notice, I had shoes on. He got his white socks dirty. Sooo.... Yeah. I called Emergency Maintenence. as I sit here i'm waiting for a call back. Mmmm 10 minutes, nothing yet.
By the way my neighbor's water bill was 90 dollars last month. I wonder if he has a leak too. This apartment is great if you think home isn't home without these problems. but alllright whatever you like, i hate this place.


I do not reccomend this place to those who care about quality.

I haven't had any problems with crime.
The Highway is a bit annoying.
Too much traffic in area. The people coming from other areas to eat is great and fine but they aren't nice drivers. It'll get to you if you move here. You'll hate them.

I heard my neighbors upstairs at night. I had to laugh but it made me sick.
I heard the guy talking on the phone upstairs and even him using the bathroom, lol

I can't wait to move.

oh wait i have more, i keep forgetting stuff.
When I moved in I was given something to mark the things wrong with the apartment. They said they would fix those things, they never did. I still have a dead bug "thing" in my light. I dont wanna get it out, What if it comes a live and eats me. We named the Ceiling fan, THE WINDDDDDD OF HELLLLL!!!!!!
It shakes a lot. OOOOo okay and I forgot. There aren't any lights on the ceilings other than the bathroom and kitchen. If lamps and lanters are your thing then good for you. I hate it.

Oooooo wait. When the A/C turns on the Circuit box in my room hums. I sometimes hum with it.

Okay when I went to ask for a 60 day notice form, they asked me if I was interested in looking at their 1 bedroom apartments. They were pressuring me I felt.

Me and my friend made up a game to guess how many layers or paint were really on the wall.
I wonder how many pokes at the wall until you get to the end of the white paint. (I have pink wallpaper in kitchen) *sigh*
