First thing that got under my skin is the parking. Staff said it wasn't really that bad and it was being worked on and improved. Well, nothing has changed for at least 6 months. I don't think any of the staff lives at the complex and are unaware of or unwilling to acknowledge the problems the residents repeatedly face.
Accidental eviction notices, maintenance that doesn't leave entry notices, garbage stink from the dumpsters located in the center of the grounds that are eternally full, out of date or lost documents, just to name a few of the problems. The entire complex needs to be painted on the outside. Wood is rotting on the garages and in the stairs. Gate usually doesn't work, though the incompetent residents are to blame for that. Noise in the buildings closest to the road is almost unbearable. Parking is almost as annoying for the buildings on the back side of the complex.
Back to the parking, the problem is with the design of the complex. There are three floors for the buildings furthest from the road, and two floors for the buildings in the middle and closest to the road. Though the buildings with three floors have the same if not less parking spaces as the buildings with two floors. It doesn't take a scientist to know that the buildings with three floors will not have enough parking spaces. Thus residents living in the buildings located furthest from the road must park on the moon each night, lame.
I probably won't be signing another lease with this complex, but here are a few things that would make me stay and be happy. Each apartment should come with one reserved space located outside the building and if a resident has more than one car there's still open parking for guests and residents with more than one car. Paint the place, because it needs it, all of it.
Some stuff was good. The office will accept packages while you're gone, awesome. Staff is there on Saturdays which seems to be a growing trend, nice for those who work all week. Location is nice because the new HOV goes all the way to the exit for this complex and access to two interstates immediately, close to many shopping locations. The buildings that face the golf course are very quiet.
Bottom line this place is better than a lot of places I've been, but I don't think it's worth as much as the rent costs. For $100 less a month it would be on par. I wouldn't be very critical if I was paying less for rent. I would recommend but I would also say shop around first and get a reserved parking space when signing the lease should they live here. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
