I moved into Oates Creek the beginning of April and April 27th my car was broken into. I spoke with the managers at the office no one apologized for anything. When I signed my lease I was told the apartments have a patrol office on premises but that was just a lie. I wouldn't recommend anyone to leave here. I hate these apartments and to think I have to stay here for another 11 months. I would rather be back home with my parents then to stay in these nasty ass apartments. That's understandable. My wife and I lived there in 1996 before our first daughter was born. It was nice, clean and safe. We moved back there in 2002, and WHOA!! What the hell happened? It turned into the ghetto. I suppose it has gotten worse today? Sorry about your luck. You can get out of your lease. They (by law) have to relet your lease if you have been vandalized or if you feel unsafe. Move East! Caddo Mills, Quinlan, Greenville, etc... Most people are. Its "commutable" and about 50% less expensive. (Oh its safe here, too. We leave our house and cars unlocked at night - no problems in over 6 years so far.)
