DO NOT LIVE HERE

While my husband and I were saving to buy a home, we chose to live at One Town Crest Apartments.
Had we known it would be a total nightmare, we would have never moved in.
PLEASE do not move in these apartments.
The rent is cheaper than most but the headaches you'll encounter while living there, are NOT worth all the money in the world.

When we first came to look at the apartments, everyone was very friendly, but the moment you sign the lease, that all changes.
The management team is unbelievably incompetent.
I am truly wondering what kind of training these managers have. Jill, who I believe is the main property manager, is rarely around. On many occasions, I'd call and leave a message for her to return my call and not ONE time did she ever call back.
9 out of 10 times when you call the office, you'll get the recorded message.

We had a few serious maintenance issues that needed immediate attention, one being our AC went out, and had to wait 2 days for a return call. Another time we had a toilet leaking from the base, enough to soak the whole floor, and it took a week before anyone even looked at it.

The whole complex seems to be falling apart.
Our apartment had cracks in every wall, the AC never worked properly , the pantry doors always fell off, the toilets leaked, the ovens were the nastiest things I've ever seen!!
We continually had a problem with bugs, too. Not only ants everywhere but also roaches. I was a very neat person, but roaches in our kitchen were an ongoing problem. Management will tell you they'll send pesticide people over, but I don't believe they ever came!!
The noise factor was out of control. People partying and yelling at all hours of the night.
Calling the office to complain was never a solution, as no one was ever around.

Parking was a NIGHTMARE!!
They have too many tenants and not enough parking spaces. It was always difficult to find an open spot any where near my apartment.

As if that is not enough to persuade you to look elsewhere, one more thing is the crime.
We had a vehicle stolen, our other car broken into and our apartment broken into.
We recovered the vehicle, but it had TONS of damage.
The items taken from us when we were robbed were never recovered. Thank God we had renters insurance.

It was, by far, the most unsafe place I've ever lived.

They have no one patrolling the complex, which they so desperately need. I was afraid to go out of my apartment at night, as there were always very sketchy people hanging around. I personally saw people on several occasions smoking pot right out by the children's playground.
TERRIBLE environment for children.

This complex needs some serious help. If I had clue what kind of place we were getting involved with, we would have NEVER moved in.

Please take my advice and don't lease from One Town Crest.
One of the happiest days of my life, is when we moved from this horrible apartment comlex.
