This is one of the worst places I have ever lived. I am in the largest unit available and my air conditioner is horrible. My bedroom (at the end of the building) gets ZERO air. It's as if I don't even have a vent in my room. So, after repeated emails, certified letters, and calls to the office - with NO result, I put a window a/c unit in my bedroom. This was fine for several months. The property changed owners and they sent out a survey. I sent my opinion directly to the corporate office, since the on-site staff obviously didn't handle ANYTHING. *Also, the water is turned off several times a month (with NO prior notification). I got very angry about the water one day and called the office to let them know how I felt (my mother wathches my infant at my apartment and needs the water on). During that conversation, I made a comment about me going through corporate about this just like I've had to do previously. At this point, the on-site team realized that I "reported" their lack of concern for multiple issues and it was on. They immediately sent out a lease violation to me about my window unit - remove immediately. I complied. The next few days, I got another lease violation, because I had "dark" window treatments hanging in my windows (due to the heat obviously). Note: I didn't have tin foil up - I purchased bamboo window treatments from Home Depot (not cheap) for each of my windows. I complied with that "notice" also. After their 2nd attempt of retailation, I contacted corporate again and went in to great detail about the way the office staff had been singling me out (I took 6 pictures of different units with "dark" window treatments and an apartment in my building with a visible A/C unit in the window the morning I called corporate). I haven't heard from the office since. You shouldn't have to go to these lenghts and be punished for expecting an apartment staff to do their job. Also, there are roaches - I've lived there 7 months and I've had to moan and complain multiple times and the office finally sent an "exterminator" (a 18-year-old boy with a can of spray); which did no good whatsoever. They told me I would be put on a weekly cycle / in which he would come every other week until I saw results. I've seen this guy once - he never came back and has already missed two "cycles". There is no visitor parking, so if you don't mind hiking to your home (in the rain with a baby)then this is the place for you. lol

So, trust me. This ISN'T the place to live. I'm soooooo gone when my lease is up.

I see nothing has changed, even with the new ownership. This complex and it's surrounding areas are becoming quite the bad section of town, and this management does nothing to make it any safer.
