As far as the area goes,they are the best price that you will find. They are right behind the mall, and close to the freway. Some might be happy to know that they are not gated, because everyone knows that gated apt complexes are just a realestate marketing gimmick. Gates do not prevent anyone from getting in- all you have to do is follow a car in. The only real way is to set up a gaurd at every entrance - and that would make the rent sky-rocket. I have lived ther two seperate times. I really clashed with some of the management. The assistant manager was one of the rudest people that i have ever met, but there are also some sweethearts that balance that out. Overall I would say that I liked the actual apartment complex, its just the area that is unbearable- Mesquite is nothing but bigoted rednecks and has no culture.
