I lived here for four miserable years. The crime level was frightening, maintenance was a joke. We went for several days with no bathroom facilities because there is no weekend maintenance nor emergency contact numbers. Three times we had the same toilet issue; it was never fixed properly. The units are falling apart, causing a/c bills north of 400$ per month in the summer.
When I moved in, the gas company tech who was sent to hook up service refused to light the pilot on the furnace, as it was not up to housing code. Thank god my unit didn't burn down.
Stray dog packs and blowing trash were a constant problem.
Drug traffic was a problem.
Scorpion infestation was a problem.
After two years, my barely-functional a/c was replaced, which was good.
I only stayed as long as I did out of necessity, I would have left after 6 months if I could have. When I did move out, I left the house unnoccupied for one day and night, with the lease still in effect, and came back to clean. On my return, I learned that the management had confiscated my outdoor grill, assuming that the property was abandoned. I still had 2 weeks on the lease. They never returned the grill, nor my security deposit. I should have filed theft charges with the police department.
The only good thing about this place is the cheap rent, but boy, does it show.
This place is trash and run by people who try to take advantage of tenants. If you move here, don't go outside after dark or let your children out.

It is hard to get things done here. They are real nice when your moving in, but when you have a problem they list you as a complainer. I've had constant problems with my bathtub faucets,they are worn out. My nieghbor has 4 pitbulls that use the bathroom all over the sidewalk and they won't clean it up. But the manager says if we can't get along we will both be evicted. I'm disabled on a fixed income and can't afford anywhere else. What am I supose to do?
