I lived in the apartment complex between Sept 2001 and May 2002. I was given the golf cart windshield tour and told how nice the place was. We were told the amenities were available for our use on a daily basis. We were given a copy of their brochure listing the amenities. It wasn't until after we signed our contract that we discovered the following:

1. the lights on the lighted tennis court did not work and they refused to repair them.

2. the basketball court did not have a hoop, so it was inpossible to play basketball. They refused to provide a new one claiming people keep tearing itdown

3. the volleyball court did not have a net and the refused to provide one.

4. the fitness center was closed between Jan 2002 and June 2002 without any notification or explanation to the residents.

5. the hot tub/jacuzzi did not work and they refused to repair it.

6. the four swimming pools were only available/open between June and September of each year and then they would only open two pools at a time. This was for over 900 apartments approx 2500-3000 residents.

Even through all this they continued to advertise the amenities and tell potental tenants the amenities were available.

At this time they have a lawsuit against them for violating the:

1. Federal Trade Commission Act, False advertisement.

2. Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

3. Texas Consumer protection Act.

Word of advise unless you are absolutely desperate for a cheap place to live and you don't care how you and your family are treated, stay away from this place. Looks are definately disceiving
