BED BUG INFESTATION

BE CARFEUL!!! Be aware that these apartments have a bed bug infestation that is uncontained. They are in almost all units. The majority of residents I have spoken with have all complained to management multiple times, some complained for months on end with little or no response. The bugs get in anything and everything and are hard to get rid of. The management offers no help other then advising that the residents throw all upholstered belongings such as beds, couches, etc into the trash. But this will not help the problem. It needs to be attacked at the source, like the carpet, in between the walls etc. where the bugs breed. This needs to be done by a professional which is contracted by the apartments. The management has been less then helpful to anyone complaining about bed bugs. The bugs can carry harmful diseases and you should be especially cautious if you have small children or pets. If you live there currently and are noticing little red dots (similar to mosquitoes bites, but less raised) you more then likely have bed bugs. If the management is reading this (which I hope you are) please fix this problem, it is not sanitary or healthy. If you cannot afford to fix the problem please seek financial help. Affected units should be addressed immediately, bed bugs are considered an uninhabitable living condition, and not exterminating these pests successfully or offering to let the residents move units is unacceptable. Please take care of your problems immediately.

Thank you for contacting the Texas Department of State Health Services. In response to your inquiry regarding bug infestation, I recommend that you contact your local health department, Tarrant County Public Health Department at, 817 321-5300, to expedite your request for assistance. The county department may be able to provide you alternatives in the situation you're confronted with at the apartment complex. I hope you find this information helpful and are able to resolve this concern as soon as possible. |

My 3 year old and I had to move out of the apartments because the bugs were so bad...breaking our lease. IT ruined my credit to do so and they still send me bills for over $2,000.00. What about the $3,000.00 I had in furniture that was TRASHED from the bed bugs? What about that? I hate them for this and encourage NO ONE no matter HOW CHEAP these apartments are, to move in.
