i have lived here for almost 4 years and this place has been through 4 change of owners! in the beggining they would come out and fix things within a day or so but after that they start to slack off. i have put into writting several times about 25-35 things that are wrong in my apartment and only a few have gotten fixed over the years. some of the things i was told by maintenance that they would be too hard to fix so they were not going to fix them, one being my outlet for my washer does not work so i have to run an extention cord through my dining room to another plug. also my rent went up because of all the remoldeling but only the vacant apartments got remodeled, they have updated appliances, i have trash that hardley works! the whole complex is infested with roaches, you cant get rid of them no matter how clean you are. i have bombed, fumigated, sprayed etc... but they still dont go away, they dont only infest the dirty apartments cause i am a clean freak, always bleaching and using pine sol every day! this is a very large community with varying ages and races, we have 4 pools which is nice if they would all be open at one time, try going swimming when there is only one pool open, it's not safe cause there are too many people in the pool! yes we do have a nice club house, fitness center, and even an internet cafe, but ------ apartments. that does not make sense to me, try cleaning up ALL the apartments first before adding all the nice ammenities! now they are putting in covered parking and that is a joke. the charge for a covered parking space is $40/car/month! now that is not even in my lease! also in my lease it states certain ammounts if your rent is late and it also states a certain percentage if your water bill is late. i have never paid my rent late but have fallen behind on my water a few times, they charge late rent fees instead of late water! when you pay rent they apply it to your water bill first and then the remainder to your rent resulting in huge late fees, i'm talking like 200-300 dollars for a late 50 dollar bill! i have had about 4 major floods in my apartment that were not my fault but i cant get them to clean the water stains from my carpets, oh i did get brand new carpet about 2 years ago when the hot water heater above me exploded but there have been at least 2 floods since then! i also believe there is mold in my apartment from all the floods but can i get them to come out and check, NO! i want to move out so badly but cant afford the prices of the other apartments and my kids love it here with all their friends. the neighbors upstairs play music and drums and electric guitars until 4 am and have wild parties which i have reported several times but nothing has happened. one night i called security 2 times and then the cops 2 more times! they just kept right on doing it. oh and they have recently spent mega bucks on some major landscaping work ( i know they payed alot for this cause i am in the business) but it is all a waste cause they dont water anything, that money could have been spent in better ways. my advice if looking for an apartment pass these "luxury" apartments right on by and go down the street! qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

So glad you put it in words! My thoughts EXACTLY! You are kind to give them a 2! The only thing you left out is how belligerent and rude the management is. The police don't want to step on too many toes because they are getting too much tax money from this place. One more reason for the failure to clean up the roaches. The city just turns a blind eye.
