I would not advise ANYONE to move to this hell hole especially women or families. Two rapes happened while I lived there one of which was by a man pretending to be maintenance. I found out only by watching the news one night and it took the apartments 2weeks! to inform us all that an incident (as they put it) had taken place.
Mail boxes where constantly getting broke into and one time 3 rows of the free standing mail boxes had been knocked right over. It looked like a car had ran into them but when we asked the office staff what had happened they just shrugged their shoulders. The mail boxes where left laying there for over a month.

Many other incident's like noise issues and the staff/maintenance just walking into your apartment with no notice took place over the course of our stay at Equestrian Pointe. But the final straw was when my husband and I went on vacation for 3weeks and on the final week got a call from my motherinlaw who had just walked into our apartment (to water our plants) and found herself ankle deep in water. The apartment upstairs water heater had busted and caused the ceiling in our apartment to cave in destroying EVERYTHING in our apartment. The staff did not even try to inform our emergency contact info on what had happened nor call the contact info we left with them. Instead they let workers go into our apartment and pull the rest of the ceiling and walls down ON TOP OF OUR BELONGINGS! yes ontop of our computer, TV, vintage record collection, books...you name it. We had no renter's insurance which I now know how stupid of us that was but they wanted an extra $120 a month which at the time was not possible for us to do. They let us out of the lease 3 months early and kept the deposit.

Two days after Halloween I had one large fresh Jack-O-Lantern sitting on my patio I got a notice from management saying that I had to pay a $25 fine for having an unkept patio. The ONLY thing on my patio was the Jack-O-Lantern so I walked over to the office and asked them what trash they meant and the ladies in the office had no idea what I was talking about. A week goes by when I get a 2nd big red notice stuck to my door saying I need to pay a $50 fee! because I failed to pay the first one. I walked over to the office again where I was met with the same attitude as before of "I dont know or care what your talking about". I brought up that last week I had a pumpkin on my patio and that was all that was there when one of the women informed me that having ANYTHING other than patio furniture on the patio was against policy.

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!for your own sanity and safety.

People in the office are incompetent. You can never get a striaght answer from them. Hopefully you moved out by now.
