Where do I begin' How about the positives...
1. I don't live there anymore.
The negatives...
2. My A/C went out 4 times in a year. 1 month my electricity bill was $260.47. That month my neighbors was $97. And there was 5 people living there in a 2 bedroom! The total time I was unable to stay there was 27 days, nearly a months rent.
3. Wasps everywhere!
4. Gone through 4 managers in the year I was there. The current ones are, in my opinion, the best yet but still don't know how to run an apartment complex.
5. My neighbor fell through the cement stairs and was badly injured. For compensation he was given a $50 late fee for rent. He couldn't pay it because his job fired him. He was too injured to work.
6. My apartment reaked of smoke and it took 6 months before the smell went away. The apartment refused to change the smoky, dirty carpet and even refused to have it clean.
7. Total of 3 cabinets broke off of the hinge.
8. Leak under the faucet led to black mold and a respiratory infection lasting 2 months.
9. I don't think the pool was ever open the entire time I lived there.
10. Exercise room' Broken equipment and very nasty.
11. Car broken into a month after I moved in.
12. Blinds were bent and dusty, as was everything else when I moved in.
13. The managers pretty much came in when they want and left when they want. And never, ever answered the phone.
14. Do I really need to continue...
Seriously, avoid these apartments and save yourself the hastle. Or at least don't sign a multi-month lease!
