I posted a negative review on April 2, 2009. It has magically disappeared. I am disappointed in Apartment Ratings for letting Mr. --- and his poor excuse for a ---- manipulate them.

These are the worst apartments ever. One night around 10pm I tried to take my trash out and couldn't open my door. It was locked and broken. I lived on the 2nd floor! I was LOCKED IN MY APARTMENT! I called the emergency line and ----- eventually calls me back. Instead of trying to take care of me she said she couldn't get ahold of their after hours guy, and even if they did they would have to pay him for being there so late. She suggested I wait till 9am the next morning. She honestly wanted me to remain locked in my apartment for nearly 10 hours. I told her if she couldn't help me I'd call the fire department and the police department and then my lawyer. She eventually sent Mr. --- to help. He had to climb up a letter and use the balcony to get into my house, and then tried to tell me that I BROKE THE LOCK ON PURPOSE! Why the heck would I do such a thing!'! He complained the whole time about fixing the lock and having to come out so late on such a cold night! He didn't even want to use a new knob/lock combo, he wanted to use WD40 on the one he came out to fix! Stupid. I refused and told him if he didn't use a new lock I was going to go and buy one myself and give him the receipt in the morning. He ended up using a used lock and then coming back in the morning to fix the knob.

Also, when I complained that the windows were letting cold air in and causing my electric bill to sky rocket Mr. --- told me to caulk the windows myself and when I suggested that the lower the rent since I was doing maintenance to the unit myself he told me no that it was only a few dollars. When I made it a point to state that he was responsible for the unit he argued it. He said that I should have known that the apartments were old and not energy efficient.

I could go on and on. One night the heat went out, when i called to ask for a repair guy to come out do you know what they said, "Try using the fireplace" Really..thats your answer'

Ugh.

I've since left Diamond Loch..I should have pursued legal action, but I cared more about just getting out and moving on. You are right God does not like ugly.

Also they do delete post that go against them and also make it look like its the other person caused the problem. Funny thing is that if more than one person is saying the same stuff then who is lying, Duh,, And they will be on the News we are thinking about calling them to, we already have a lawyer, and have you ever seen them replace the carpet ever in this place for any of the new tenets. That is so gross!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you live here or use to live here sue. You can get a lawyer at www.prepaidlegal.com.....This place is, as I speak under investigation for illegally using another company names claiming there corporate when this company has NOTHING to do with this place. Also there are tons of other things going on here that are not legal. Lawyers at prepaid legal have had so many complaints about this place its unreal. So if your thinking about moving here, please reconsider. This place is the hood. Its quiet in the day time but at night its another world. The owners are VERY money hungry. There was a hell storm about 2 years ago i think that broke out windows, put holds in the siding, etc..don't you know that it took over 2 months for them to fix the window in my daughters room. Instead they spend thousands of dollars getting the parking lot painted..lol..theres more to tell I could go on. I was actually friends with one of the maintenance guys and he told me EVERYTHING that went on and so with that being said i have proof of the shady business going on here. I told Mr. ---, Tonya..etc that when i left this place i was going to take them down for everything they have going on. I guess they thought I was playing with them, not only do I have the Texas apartment association looking into this place, I have an lawyer and also Saul Garza investigation as well as long as you have proof they will take care of you...if you guys need any help contact them they will help no matter what the good so call good reviews say this place is anything but good.
