First I was tricked into moving in. I looked at an apt. and said I would get back to them in a couple days the leasing person called me two hours later saying someone was coming in to lease the apartment right away so I was forced to make a last minute decision. They demanded first monthes rent plus deposit up front after I signed the lease. I am forced to live where my neighbours drink, party and fight ( great place to have my kids around). Not to mention the police are here on a daily basis. The rent is too high. Plus add on your water, trash and sewage fees that were not explained to me in the first place. The maintenace suck. I have had them over 3 times already to fix the same thing. The list just goes on and on. Take it from us. This place is not worth the time or effort. The only good thing is that it is next to Walmart, but have fun trying to leave the parking lot with all the traffic everywhere. Be smart invest else where...like a house.

Wow, I lived here for 3 years now and this does not sound true. I've only seen the police out a few times which is expected. Once was for loud music in my bldg, but thats no big deal. It happens. I know everytime I sign my paperwork, I sign a paper stating I must pay water. I don't like it, but everywhere charges this now. I think this person needs to read what they sign and if they do not agree, simply move. I have lived in apts for over 10 yrs and can tell you by far this place has been the best. I know they do stick by their rules (once I had to pay a late fee, but it was expected I was late on rent) and could not get it waived. I visit the staff in the office at least once per week and they are really great people. Maint has been nothing but helpful in repairs for my apt. My repairs were all fixed in a day or two. I like my home and the people of Hilltop.

I don't know where all the whiners are coming from! Hilltop has a helpful office team. I have lived there for 1.5 yrs and my family and I have had nothing but a great experience here. The grounds are kept neat and tidy, the office people are friendly, whenever something breaks it is fixed. Are you sure you don't have a personal issue to air? Sounds like someone needs to admit their faults..........hum............
