I'm torn in writing this review because there are some good qualities about this complex. The rent is very reasonable, safe area, good location, and the staff is mostly friendly. Now on to the other things while it is a safe area the people that are moving in here lately some downright scary not to mention loud and obnoxious most of the time. The staff is very friendly, smile when you come in, and try to call you by name when you come in BUT they don't do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. The maintenance is a joke here and that is my biggest issue. I have a leak in my ceiling that had been reported several times and I thought the source of the problem had been fixed but then again it didn't rain for awhile either. Then the solid week of rain hit and I came home after it started to find a lake in my living room. The ceiling was again soaked and sagging and my carpet was soaked as well as an expensive piece of exercise equipment that is now trash. I called the emergency maintenance thing because of the amount of water. He came and sucked up the water with a shop vac and that was it. I then waited and waited for them to come repair the damage. I had been told by two different people that they would have them replace that section of the ceiling completely. When I came home the day they finally "fixed" it I found that all they did was patch the small portion that had fallen out and then just painted over the rest. It isn't even a decent cover up you can still see the brown water stain and the ceiling still looks like it is going to cave in. Another thing is they know I'm upset about it so they won't answer when I call the office from my phone. I thought maybe they were just busy but I called right back from another number and they answered immediately. So I don't know but seems a little strange to me and not very professional. Like I said there are some positives about the place but at this point they are far outweighed by the bad.
