I moved in there because it was a great move-in special and the apartment was very cute and a good size for me and my 3year old. I didnt know that for a 1 bedroom apartment that my electricity would be over $130.00 a month! I didnt have a washer and dryer, didnt run the dishwasher all day, I was the only person who could reach a light switch in my apartment. I complained to the office to see if there was something wrong with my unit to over work causing such a high electricty bill. They said I was the cause of the bill. I was gone from 6 in the morning until 6 in the evening and I made sure to cut everything off. Still, every month, no matter what the weather, my bill has never been under $130.00. It may be a good deal but, they have an even better deal with the electric company or they do an average bill for your whole building like they do the water bill. I was paying $420 for a one bedroom but with electricity and the $50 waterbill(for 2 occupants, no matter the age) I was paying close to $600.00 per month. Just be prepared for a high electric bill no matter what you do to maintain a low bill, FORGET IT. The staff is not professional and the manager at the time was a brunette who was so rude I wanted to hit her. They are sweet until you sign the lease. Just keep looking.
