When I lived there it was okay, but I moved out they tried hustling me. About two-three months after I moved out, my mother and I started recieving calls from a collection agency. They said I owed over $900 for breaking my lease and damages. I put in my move out notice 26 days prior, and instead of pro-rating like they should have, they charged me $2000. When I went into the office to contest the it, they were very rude and couldn't find any documents to back up their claims. Luckily I kept copies of all my contracts and written notices. Once I mentioned I had also sent copies to my lawyer they jumped to change the price. In the end I got my deposit back and ongoing telemarketer calls wanting to fix my debt.

No offense but EVERY person in the office told me SEVERAL times that you must put in a notice 2MONTHS(more than 26 days) to move out(Don't mean to piss you off, I'm sure there may have been other cicumstances not mentioned; and yes some of the management is quite incompetent esp. the fat Mexican lady). Other than that I do agree with a lot of problems people have had especially about maintenance taking forever to fix things. Hell right now I'm trying to get the management to get their ---- together about my electricity because they claimed they took down a deposit for GEXA. I think the staff misplaced the check and fortunately GEXA sent me an invoice saying I could pay it with no penalties. The management claimed that GEXA changed policies like a week after I moved and that the complex doesn't take checks anymore, but they should have KNOWN that before they took my electric deposit. Now I have to have money in limbo to see if GEXA finds that check to just have it credited for a future bill. I've lived here for a month now and for the most part seemed to have gotten a better place than most(I hope my luck continues especially with lots of the horror stories I've read). Anyway to everyone who's had bad luck, I wish you the best finding a place you like cause trust me there's worse than this place(I've lived in the uber ghettos before).
