I don't even know where to start. Before I moved here I checked the ratings of the complex and they were ok enough for me to move to just to save money on rent. Two weeks before I moved in, the nightmare began. First of all, the office staff seems so nice and down to earth until your pen hits the lease contrat. Almost everything they tell you is a complete and absolute lie. We were unable to see the apartment due to its lack of availability but we were told by one of the lying twits that because the previous tennants would be moved out two weeks before I was scheduled to move in, then we could see the apartment once it was cleaned up which woudl was supposed ot be right away! The tennants moved out their scheduled time and we never saw the apartment until the day of move in. Which we had to delay because I refused to move in until I had seen the apartment. We asked about storage and we were told there was more than enough storoage. When we saw the apartment, the only "storage" they had was a large closet and a tiny coat closet. We also asked if there was shared water. We were told no. . .LIE! Because of our neighbors having five people living in a one bedroom apartment, there is rarely any hot water. When there is, it is barely hot! When asked about parking we were told that although there was no assigned parking, there was always plenty of parking available. . . Bigger lie! I get off of work at 2 a.m. in the morning and often have to park over a blcok away from my apartment! The laundry facility is not climate controlled (another lie told to us) and if you don't stay in there you will have stuff stolen by the residence that live across from there! We were told that our fellow residence were all very honest and trust worthy HA! The only thing clean about the apartment when I moved in were the carpets which later I found out why they had to be cleaned: the carpets smell like cat pee! The upstairs fan had two inches of BLACK dust caroading it. Everything was dusty and there are blood spots all over one of the bathroom walls. When I first moved in the upstairs toilet was constantly running. The lady that showed us the apartment noticed it right away and put in a written request right away. That was Ocotber the 26th. It was fixed on November 4th. It took them over a month to get me my mail key and when I called about it and asked for an althernative, I was told to pay to have my mail held at the post office! Why did I move in after seeing the apartment the first time' Because I was stupid enough to trust the lying theiving office staff and signed a pre-lease! If you don't mind living in the ghettos of the ghettos with over priced rent, run down EVERYTHING and the absolute most dishonest office staff then this is the place for you! Of yeah, someone also tried to break in the first week I was here. I made the mistake of leaving my kitchen window open a little (for air) but locked it into place. When I was on my way to bed, I noticed the window had been moved up to its maximum locked place and the screen had been pride (sp') off. When they say that there is a state trooper that constantly goes through here, it is a lie! The only time any law enforcement show up is when they are contacted. I received a copy of my lease the same day my toilet was fixed so I missed the 48 hour cut off to move out. Trust me, I would have moved out even with all of the hard work to move in. I didn't receive a copy of the community clause and I didn't realize it until I pulled my lease contract out to verify that there was indeed something in there that said I can't leave my bycycle on my back porch (although not visible from the road) when there is no storage place to put it in! My only option is to give it away! I hate, hate HATE this complex and would not even recomend it to my worst enemy EVER! The only people that say yes to this heck hole are the people that work here! Don't believe any yes! It is a fraud and a lie.
