I moved in June 2005. We have had a leak in our bathroom ceiling since we moved in and it is still not fixed. We call at least 4 times a week, but they still don't know whats wrong with it. The "repair men" don't speak English and have no idea how to fix anything. They left food, tools, and dirty rags all over my counter. They tracked dirt and mud on my carpet and left chunks of dirt in the tub from where they fixed the A/C above it. Since June, they have had to replace our dishwasher - it leaked all over the floor our first week here. They also took a week to get us a fridge when ours went out. Not only is the replacement fridge very old, but the door is broken. Our heater went out in the coldest part of winter (took them a week to fix that) and out water goes out at least once a week. We have no screens on our windows, so we cant open them because we have a cat. Packages that are left in the office for me are returned to senders if I don't pick them up that same day, even if I call in advance. They also send my packages back if my last name is misspelled by one letter. I was told that I had to take my porch screen down or I would be fined. After I pointed out the fact that 5 of my neighbors have the same exact one, they let me keep it up. They also sent out a notice that all blinds and porches must be cleaned and neat before Jan. 15 in order to keep out complex looking nice, but several empty apartments behind me have trash-filled porches and no blinds at all. Also, if I don't get home by 5 pm, I have to park a block away beacause of limited spaces. After all these problems, the low rent just isnt enough to keep me here.
