Up until the Ft. Worth Brahma's made their home off the ice at Silver Creek Apartments this was a quiet and relaxing place to come home to every day. Now the noise my family and I have to endure above us is unbearable most times and even though I have appealed to management the only remedy they can offer up for my neighbor's noise is ''Maybe I might want to consider changing apartments" I have lived here four years, they have been here maybe six months. I am under the impression that Silver Creek guidelines are not the same for all tenants.

When you said: "I am under the impression that Silver Creek guidelines are not the same for all tenants" you couldn't be more correct. I have also discovered this to be a major problem. The Brahma's, for those of you who do not know, is a local minor league hockey team. The entire roster of the team lives here at Silver Creek by Norstar, the free apartment is considered a part of their pay. I love the team, but hate living with them, since they moved in it's "Party-On"! As if Silver Creek by Norstar didn't already have enough problems, now we have become a local Frat House for the hockey team. Buyer, er, I mean Renter Beware!

Couldn't agree with you all more...I believe we must all live in the same building. One night the "Brahma Crew" decided to stop in front of my apt. at some odd 3 in the morning and have loud make out and laughing sessions/conversations for about 10 mins. If i wasn't concerned about waking up completely to scream at them and not being able to fall back asleep, I certainly would have given them a piece of my mind. Whatever you do, don't move into Building 8. I wouldn't suggest this property at all to be honest...the walls are cracking and I've had numerous maintenance problems....the windows leak inside when it rains...I've had to replace curtains..this is still an issue 4 yrs. later. I've had rust water leak from my shower cieling...again, had to replace my 2 month old white shower curtain. The list goes on... This property is a seemingly nice one from the outside, but in the long run, it is not only a headache, but one that is deteriorating quickly by the minute!

I and my family lived in the apartment for a year, and was faithful renters. We decided to move after the lease was up, and we did everything by the book; left everything broom swept clean, left nothing in storage, etc. Even left a forwarding address should there be any problems along with phone number. Here it is six months later, and we get a letter from a collection agency requesting we pay over a thousand dollars for carpet, items left in storage, cleaning the apartment and everything they thought they could find. Not only did we clean the apartment, and left the apartment clean, we video taped the apartment after doing so for just in case purposes. Also, there is drug activity in and around the complex. I and my neighbor caught a man first peeping in another neighbor's window and then stashed drugs on her porch. The neighbor called the police and told me to get inside. The neighbor was elderly and she must have found out about it, because it wasn't long after that, that she moved out. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX! All these owners want is your money! They do not care how they get it even if it means lying! I urge every renter to get renters insurance and video tape or take pictures of everything before leaving! Make sure to do a walk-through with management before leaving too!

Wow, I love the Brahmas and I think it says alot that they chose to live in MY community. I think they are great, the office is very professional and they are really friendly and take care of their neighbors!

Okay, you must be the office responding! The office staff is not GREAT, as a matter of fact, they are the rudest, unprofessional group of people I have come in contact with. Of course, you don't see this until you have moved in but you do finally get to see it. If you have a service request, it takes weeks and sometimes months with request after request before the even look at it. In most cases, the repairs are not even made! Noise is a serious issue. For these building not to be old, the construction is failing them. They are not sound at all! My family and I can't have a quiet evening without the upstairs floors making these horrible sounds. Friendly, I should say NOT! You can tell the residents that require the office to respond to their requests for services and for those residents who don't. I have sat around the office and watched the interaction with multiple residnets and realized those the get over on. One last foot note; professionalism is not makng plans to go out DRINKING with your residents whil you have others in the office. That is personal and should not be shared with the public. I now know that at least two if not more of the staff in the office like to party.......... How's that for professionalism?!?!?!
