I've been here a week now and this is quite a nice place. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has it's pro's and cons like anywhere, this isn't your mom's house so it's going to be a different experience for everyone.
I come from a pretty poor family, so this is upscale for me. Our apartment overlooks the golf course, so it's quiet from that direction. The inside has been repainted, and appliances are pretty new.
Pro's:
Fairly new, I believe only 5 years old.
New appliances.
Normal size refrigerator, not a small apartment size.
Spacious.
Quiet from the golf course side.
Large kitchen for an apartment.
Plenty of counter space and has pantry.
Hardwood floor in kitchen.
Helpful staff.
24 hour fitness center (You need a key fob to get in after hours).
At least 2 pools.
Pet clean-up stations.
Great insulation throughout apartment for cheaper cooling and heating.
Plenty of storage in apartment.
Garden tub with jets.
2 balconies.
Cons:
The ceilings and floors are hollow and you can hear every step someone makes above.
The carpets were not shampooed as mgmt said they were.
The kitchen sink had not been cleaned.
Berber carpet.
The dryer provided(we pay rent on) was filthy, had blue ink smeared inside and full of lint and a dryer vent hose was left in it.
Grilling is a long trip given you have to be 10' from the building and the location of some of the doors relative to grilling area make grilling a lengthy walk with food and ingredients.
Parking is horrible, on weekends the complex fills up with family and friends of tenants and leave you with a muddy hill on the other side of the parking lot to park on, through the week you're lucky to have a spot near your apartment if you have one vehicle in your household, let alone 2.

Its a shame you've only been there a week and have a list of cons so long already. But believe me the list will grow the longer you stay and when you finally move wait til you get hit with all the additional bogus charges.

The cons are very minor, especially considering the condition of most of the other apartments in the area for the same price. My only real complaint is inconsiderate neighbors that come home drunk at 3 am and decide to argue on their balcony next to my bedroom window. But that has nothing to do with the apartments or management, just assshole neighbors.
