It is hard to find a place in Pasadena that is medium-priced; most places are either s**t-holes or they cost $1200/mo. Red Pines:
1. is in a decent area, with good access to stores and main roadways.
2. has new playground equipment and plans to renovate the pool.
3. medium-priced rents.
4. The office people are pretty decent, too.

Red Pines doesn't have:
1. washer/dryer hookups
2. dishwashers in the units (oh, noes)
3. security fences, gates, etc.

Also, looking back at some of the reviews I was wondering how a place (Red Pines) could have a ton of latinos, a lot of ------, and a lot of whites living there and be "racist". That doesn't make any sense. They might have a problem with people that don't pay their rents, but I'm pretty sure they don't care what color you are as long as they are getting their moneys. Peace.
