At first everything seems wonderful and the apartment staff is very friendly...DON'T BE FOOLED!!! At closer look, the bathroom floors have hair glued to them, absolutely disgusting! There are paint spills all over the carpet. The noise violations are unbelievable! People have their music up full blast at all hours of the day and night. The downstairs neighbor's music is so loud the floor vibrates and the neighbor directly behind has very loud "intimate time" for hours in the middle of the night! You can call to complain at their after all call number but nothing is done. The electricity bill is outrageous!!! My parents live in a 3 bedroom home in the Houston humidity/heat with the air set at 70 and they pay less than I do living in the 2 bedroom apartment with the air at almost 80! The management is by far the most deceiving thing about this apartment! They are so nice when you move in, but the second something is wrong or your ready to leave they get nasty real quick! The only good thing is the maintenance staff, they are very friendly and helpful! vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

wow, this is so true about the nasty hair! Whomever "stickman34" is, you must not live here and work at the apartments. What a joke...come on. When the wax on the floors is at least 2 inches thick (when you move in), NO you can't see the nasty hairs. Who are you really sticking up for? The apartments have gone to crap, the quality of staff is down, and quality of tenants is down. What exactly are you so defensive about? I'd like to know after reading all your reply's. The place sucks now and used to be pretty nice...what is it that you can do to make it better? Instead you try to belittle the people that have opinions? If you aren't the staff, you must be a friend of one.

The previous poster is right about staff turning into bastards once you move in. Courtney in the front office is just a rude smart mouthed little pile of fecal matter. She thinks she is high and mighty , but in reality is just a lackey. They treat every maintenance request as if its a bother to them and act like how dare you bother them. Ive noticed a trend in Austin Apartments that they like to hire the ditzy dumb ----- to work in the front when they need a responsive person who doesnt take things personally. I wouldnt be surprised if staff tries to retaliate for some of the things said.

I agree with every negative remark on this page. I am 6 months pregnant, we have had a HORRIBLE sewage smell in our apt. twice now. The second time was last Friday. We called for maintenance and of course we had to call more than once. After being told that it was not an emergency my husband became angry enough at the fact that they believed a pregnant woman smelling somebody elses fecal matter was not an emergency that they finally sent somebody Friday night.
