Riverhourse Ranch is basically a typical mediocre apartment community. Nothing special. Usual B.S. from inconsiderate neighbors, yadda yadda yadda. BUT check this out.
We rented a one bedroom during the summer. Sure, we expected to pay a little extra for the AC. BUT GET THIS! $290.00 a month in electricity. (and we only turned it on when we came home from work) Add that to all the other ridiculous cost extras (water & garbage' gimme a break) and our $695.00 a month tiny apartment was $1080.00 We compared our bill with a friend with a four bedroom house and they were $165.00
We left the apartment in better shape than when we moved in and still was charged $75.00. All we can say is if your planning to move there be prepared to grab your ankles. You will pay dearly.

we had a 311 dollar electric bill and found out that TXU was charging us for the wrong apartment. Call your provider and double check that they are reading the right meter. But I know what you are saying, the water bill is pathetic. And the girls in the office cant even get the billing right half the time. Make sure you document everything everytime you pay them. Best of luck, we only have 5 months left on our lease thank god

We prepaid the last month, had everything shut off, and left early. (September)They still charged us for the water and garbage even though we were not there. Personally I think its some kind of scam. Very disappointed. $311.00? Wow. You may have a good reason to get out of that lease. Actually it was good to get out of Texas.
