First of all, do not believe the good comments on this website. They were obviously written by management. No one in their right mind would write good comments about this property.
It has bugs (ants & roaches) to the point where one cannot keep dishes or food in cabinets. The management is horrible! When you call to turn in a maintenance request, they are annoyed that you called. It is at least 2-3 days before they get around to stopping by to address the problem. My a/c was once broken during the summer for 4 days. I called the emergency voicemail, but they never returned my call. And, they did not offer free rent to compensate.
Parking is a nightmare if you do not pay extra for a garage or covered space. Visitors of tenants park in what little spaces there are for residents and leave residents to walk from half way across the other side of the property to their apts.
Once, I was forced to park in what I thought was a vacant covered space. Management authorized the towing of my car during "non office hours." They couldn't respond during "non office hours" to have my a/c fixed, but they could respond during "non office hours" to have my car towed. The only sentiments they had to offer about that was, "do you want to rent a garage for $90 bucks a month or a covered space for $30 bucks a month'"
The walls are paper thin and when your neighbor shuts or slams his door, your walls will shake. It annoyed the hell out of me!
There were no rules about proper balcony decor. I saw all sights when I lived there. Some had clothes draped over the railing of their balcony, others had actual inside furniture out there. That is straight ghetto! This property attracts rift raft!
And, forget about getting your deposit back. I've been trying to recover mine for months now. Mangement is not the least bit concerned and will be no help. I've taken up calling the corporate headquaters in Chicago!
