You are probably the exception than the rule. Despite all the negative feedback on this page, I made the stupid mistake of living in Avalon.
I have lived in a lot of apartments but my experience here has been the WORST. The staff here is discourteous, rude and dishonest.
Yes, there is noise here ALL THE TIME. Complaints to the staff has NEVER worked. Repairs needed takes atleast 3 -4 phone call reminders and visits before anything is done.
If you need to pay the rent, make sure you are there atleast 30 minutes before closing. If you get there at 5:29 with a 5:30 closing and the staff is right there, they will rudely shout at you and refuse to take the check.
Check your lease again, again and AGAIN. If your lease is due to end on a certain date, the date on the lease will be printed for one month ahead and then you are locked in for an extra month.
Yes, the water bill here is extremely high. I too lived by myself and my bill was CONSISTENTLY above 30$ a month.
So, AVOID THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF. They do suck big time.
