The apartment itself was very nice, however, the place went to hell and high water quick. All the kids started moving in and everyone had the gate code to the place. One time the local highschool kids had an estimated 50 kid party at the pool in which a fight broke out and the cops were called. The nice people below me didn't speak a word of english so asking them to turn down the utter sound depths of Selena was not an option. Reported noise to the office staff and I quote "we will take care of it right away, that's not how we run things here". Obviously it was as nothing was done. The hot tub always had someone in it at all hours of the night to include beer cans, music and laughter. I think I would feel safer crossing the North Dallas Tollway rather than chance it on foot accross the parking lot and the electric bills were out of control.
Again, the apartment was great. Lots of space and a very open floor plan. Lots of upgrades at a WONDERFUL price. Unfortunitly, the complaints over ruled luxury and price and I took my business elsewhere as soon as my lease expired. I lived there for 1 year and 6 months.
The ground were kept very attractive. No club house though, (do people actually use that damn thing though) and the fitness room was small. 2 pools were nice and the golf course views were breath taking.
The sad thing is, this community has real potential if management would clean up their act and stop being half assed about these issues and fix them. Sometimes you have to just put your foot down and keep it professional meaning don't let every person with a checking account and job move in AND enforce the written and posted rules of the community.
