I have lived in this complex for about four months. I want to be fair and balanced so I will stick to the facts. Promises were made in relation to new this and new that. Most of these were kept, but not in a timely fashion. The parking is fair, but the sprinklers kinda defeat the advantages of covered parking (short of a hailstorm). I have seen car break-ins since our arrival, but it does not seem to be a regular happening. The gates work most of the time (70/30). No complaints about the maintenance staff. They are taking care of items within 48 hours of notice/request (make sure that the office has actually told maintenance about the problem). The water bill is a bit strange with it "shared" between the units (no individual meters). Be sure that your apartment is well away from Legacy or Alma, as the traffic noise will wake you early. One more location tip. Do not rent an apartment on the sundown side towards Alma in the summer. It is a killer on the electric bill. The balconies are nice, the outside storage is fair. In the one we have the inside closet space is terrible. We thought we knew, but once you truly have all of your stuff, ouch. No serious bugs, no noisy neighbors (except the Fire Station on Alma), a relatively good location. I have to admit that for less than 600.00 it is a bargain. We won't stay after the lease is up, but if you are looking for a location close to Allen, Frisco, or N. Plano this is a good place to start out. NOTE: The fitness center equipment (both treadmills, the bike) has been broken for about two months. Hopefully if you tour the property you may want to ask about the fitness center. The mentioned expanding it, but really it would be better if the equipment was working.
