I have lived here for 4 years now. I to moved in here back when it was Jefferson at Preston. Back then I would have given them a 10 out of 10 for everything from the front office to maintenance. BUT then they were sold and became Avendale on Preston. When Trivest took over and changed every staff person at the complex I would gave them a 2 out of 10. Very unfriendly in the office, never had work requests completed and always empty promises that it would be fixed the next day(never was). I moved into a 2 bedroom here and it took me calling and writing to TRIVEST to get my apartment up to standards.(sorry to many things to list) I was planning on moving out once my lease was up, but in the last 6 to 9 months they have improved very much. They have hired all new leasing agents. They seem to actually care if you live there or not. They have hired 2 more maintenance staff which brings the total to 3 now. Things are usually fixed with in a couple of days.

Now about the complex.
Total pools 3. 2 in the front and 1 small one in the back. One of the front pools is set up for watervolleyball. Very fun during the summer. The property layout is nice. Very spacious so that you don't feel like you are so cramped. Baksetball court, car wash(broken often but still a nice place to hand wash your car in the shade, covered parking, lots of grass area for decent views instead of always looking at a parkinglot and great for pets. Security access gates.

I now would recomend this complex. They seem to be improving every day. Great location Preston and Legacy.

One they have a lot of vacancies so you can pretty much get a ton of discounts. So far the best I have got is 2 free months off a 12 month lease. Prorated throughout the lease which drops your rent. I wouldn't take anything less. Also the 2 that seem to run the complex and get everything done are Heather(asst Manager) and Raquel(head maint). Work with them and your living experience will be that much better here at Avendale.
