I have following complaints:

1) The woman responsible for the bookkeeping/asst. manager' is abrasive.
For example, I went in a few weeks ago to pick up a gate remote (they were out of them when I signed my lease, and told me come back later to pick one up). When I cheerfully asked for one, she responded with "we have left several messages for you to come pick one up". First, no one ever called me. Second, I wasn't complaining...I wanted to say "just give me my remote and stop being rude". I have other examples of her attitude, but that one upset me the most.
2.) When I moved in, my apartment was FILTHY! I'm still scrubbing it down. Judging from some of the mail I've been getting, the previous tenants were nasty. But hey, I never complained.
3.) Also, upon moving in, I find out that the plug for my dryer was blown out and a fire hazzard. 5 days later, maintenance shows up and installs the wrong outlet and leaves me a note telling me to get another plug for my dryer! My plug matched the original (damaged) outlet, but not the new one. I ended up having a guy I was dating fix it instead.

What is good about this place:
1.) The leasing staff. Very nice, no complaints there (especially Elmira).
2.) Apartment is cheap for the size.
3.) There is a lot of guest parking.
