I just checked the website posted in one of the reviews, and I just wanted it to be known that rent for the 722 sq. ft. apartment was under $600 when I lived there, and now it is listed at $755 and $865! Trust me, there are far better deals in the same area and I never regret leaving the Mansions/Bella Vida. I've had experiences that were 100% better elsewhere in Plano - better deals where you don't have to worry about parking or getting shot.

Yeah you lived here almost five years ago there???s no way that within five years prices would stay the same! I???ve lived here since 2003 and I have seen prices go up and down; believe it or not apartment prices have a lot to do with the housing market. When the market is great and people are buying homes prices tend to go down because apartments have to compete and when people are not buying and the economy is bad, they know people will stay put and pay more in rent. Also those prices may be for apartments with views or upgrades. That???s just how it is; everyone is out to make money. Yes this complex has its issues but so does every other complex in Plano! Also most of Plano???s other complexes still have yet to update their apartments with new appliances and lets face it only certain sections of Plano are really that desirable anymore.

I did live here 5 years ago; however, I'm still in the Plano apartment market and have lived in three complexes that were safer, better managed, cleaner, and just as upgraded as BV/Mansions - for $200 or more less. If you want to waste your money on a place where people get shot (and yes, there was an attempted murder in the apartment above me when I lived there), that's your business... This site is for your personal opinion of the complex - and mine is as stated above. FWIW - when my 12 month lease was up, the new management raised my rent over $150. Good luck with that... Click on the "pricing" link above to see a graph of the normal Plano rent compared with BV.
