I have been a resident here for over three years now. I have just recently signed another 13 month lease through next year. Yes the Mansions manangement in my opinion did a great job. I have talked to the new management twice, the old manager and the current one about issues and rules that are simply ignored or not enforced. These issues are TRASH and the lighting problem. Today is July 4th at 8:00pm. I just drove my trash to the dumpster. As I drove around the entire complex I was witness to about 50-75 bags of trash at the usual sidewalk collection areas. Being a holiday today, was there a trash pickup this morning not sure. If not, why wasn't there a noticed sent out stating the delay of the trash pickup. If trash was picked up this morning, I can't believe why my fellow residents would continue to pile up the trash throughout the day. To me, this is a health and animal problem. The management may blame the old regime for disgruntled residents but this trash issue is an ongoing problem that never has been addressed. My other complaint is the lack of lighting throughout the complex or broken lights. I routinely walk my dog and as a male could see how maybe a resident may be scared or intimidated by the lack of lighting. I've been told the lighting fixtures have been vandalised by kids in the past. If this is an ongoing problem, I wish my fellow adults and parents could help to enforce this problem. I understand that these fixtures aren't cheap and do take away maintenance time for other issues. I have lived in Irving and will never again live there. All apartments have issues but I see there are less here. I just wish the trash and lighting problem could be addressed by the management in a timely manner. By improving just these two issues, the complex would look better and appear to be safe for all. I do agree with all the negative reviews I have read on this site. As a long time resident, I have witnessed alot of the same issues. If management would enforce the rules as strongly as it does rent/trash, I'm all for it and think this complex would improve two-fold. If management reads this as I took the time to write it, I would hope there could be an attempt to enforce or see to the TRASH and LIGHTING problems resovled in a timely matter. The current polocies and rules are not being enforced and mabye need reviewing or rewriting. Instead of blaming old regimes, lets make a new attempt to fix the problem and no more excuses. I believe this two issues need help from my fellow residents along with management to fix the problem.

You have a written a great review on this place! But, unfortunately it won't help... It will continue to go downhill, and management won't do a thing to help the residents live a nice life here.

Agreed, great review, unfortunately I have witnessed the lights on the garages being shot out by kids with a BB gun. I called the Plano Police and no one showed up. I then left a message for the Courtesy Officer as I believed I knew where one of the kids reside, that was three months ago and I have yet to get a return call or a response from the staff. Pretty poor

doublebear, when i lived there it was awful! they try and try to suck every bit of money you have.. making up ---- as they go along.. i am so glad to be out of that place.. it took a year of that poor place!!
