Hey;
Its nice to have free happy hour and brunch, but whats up with jammed gates at all times' Please don't advertise as a gate community, because its not, but once in every 3 months!
Also, whats up with the vandalized and smashed security post upfront' Thats scary!

Sorry for the gates not working, however since a young lady lost control driving down Custer and ran into our Guard Post, we were delayed even further with resolving the Gate problems as she hit our Gate Control Box as well. During our Town Hall Meeting, held on April 8th, we updated everyone as to the progress on this. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss further. Thanks

Yup, those gates never worked, I lived there 5 years ago and they didn't work then either...I can't believe that guard house is still there, they took that one away about 3 months after we moved in, but of course our rent did not go down. They slowly took things away, yet the rent continued to rise...Interesting to say the least. Worst place we ever lived!!

I agree with you! I lived there for a couple of years, and moving from that rat hole was the best thing I have ever done!! The apartments are LITERALLY falling down!! horrible place!! run from this place!!

For aley81088 - The Town Meetings that the manager mentioned in her post are a "joke" at best. They have had two and both of them ended up with everyone more frustrated and angry. They were suppose to be every 3 or 4 months, but the mgmt has not scheduled any more - wonder why? I do not think they want to hear out complaints - they only want compliments and cannot seem to understand that they will not get these compliments unless the situation around here improves a lot. There has only been a couple of the items they said they would do which has actually been done and 1) is the roofs were fixed after the storm, but remember this is their property - they are only doing this for their own benefit-not for ours, and 2) the gates were "fixed" (ha ha) if you want to call it that for (1) one week. They have not worked since. Trash is still being put out at all times with mgmt doing nothing, and dog poo is everywhere. They even switched over to a new water company to "supposedly" lower our water bill; however, mine is just as high as before - I have not seen a difference. I am grateful that I am now on a waiting list for a senior community apartment, and I cannot wait until my name is called and I can move from Bella Vida. This does, in some respect sadden me because, like so many have said, this COULD be a nice place if management would enforce the rules "they" make, and take care of the community. As for the security officers whose names on now listed on your monthly newsletter - they are "just on" the payroll which is why you pay more in rent - they really do not exist. They are sort of like the tooth fairy - something you want to believe in, but can't.
