Just an FYI for those of you who paid for clickers...
We asked the front office if we would be refunded for our clickers that we paid $80 for when we first moved in. They told us that when our lease was up we would get the money back. Not sure why we have to wait until then, but it's better than nothing. Just thought some of you would like to know...I suggest asking the office about it though cuz you never know what will actually be followed thru with.

Yeah a couple of weeks ago when I asked ----- about the refund and she said only if we have proof of the $80. check. I told her it was included in the check I paid before move in. But we have a break down of the check from the office before move in. With a frump look on her face, She said yeah, No you have to have proof of the $80. check. I said that doesn't make sense. I said it sounds like I would need to call my attorney. She said yeah. Well after calling my attorney I found out that we won't get the deposit back until move out which is normal, he said we were definitley entitled to our refund though. So on move out we will be forwarding all of our refund paperwork to the law firm to have them review it. It's funny how -----'s story changed after she realized I was serious about having an attorney. She went from saying you need a copy of the $80. check to oh yeah it's right here in the ledger, do you want a copy? It feels so good to access to your rights, especially when people like this know they can take advantage of you without councel. I would not be without my legal insurance!!!!

Everyone needs to realize that this management staff took over the property back in April and there are a few things that still have to be ironed out. You and they are both under legal responsibilities of your current lease. This company is not out to screw you but there accounting is only as good as the people who owned the property before them. They are not in the bussiness of losing money either.

Can you get the ledger from the front office? I believe it says that I paid $80 on my contract also...
