So you are the person with the wooden fence. I just read your reply in the previous review. Ta-da! And what is NOT anonymous about bstewart25? Or is this Brandi Stewart?...... Everytime we get one of "these" posts it just makes ya think that management is doing it. Come on already - it is SO obvious! Duh! So what do YOU know poster of some of our situations? How do you know that our requests are not being ignored? Personally I have contacted certain management people and my calls or emails have gone unanswered. EVEN when it was in response to their call/email. Yes, I certainly agree to give the new management a chance and some of us have. Being friendly/making jokes with some people some of the time does not make them responsible management. So if you know so much, or you have inside information, what is with the apartment with the wooden fence? Many of us can see it from Custer when driving. Maybe since you have such a good relationship with the new management maybe you can find out about it. Or is it your apartment that has it? The internet IS the real world my friend and "We the People" are using it as a tool. BTW, what in the heck has Bella Vida done for you lately? How do you KNOW they will take the time and effort to ensure our happiness? They sure aren't ensuring mine I'll tell ya that for sure. Oh, wait, I can be positive. Our new mailboxes have an "Outgoing" slot! I certainly had time to notice it after going up 3 days in a row and not being able to retrieve my mail. There, see, I can be positive! :-)

I understand everyone???s frustration with the mailboxes, the roofs and the gates, because I have the same concerns. Its take way to long for them to be fixed and its to the point of ridiculousness and it really needs to be fixed. I also understand that this kind of stuff goes on at every apartment complex no matter who the manager or management company is. I have lived at several apartments in dfw and its all the same thing and if you don???t like it then move! Break your lease or don???t renew! If people are so fed up with management then buy a house. It???s really that simple. I have had many problems at Bella Vida when Greystar ran the property and I expect to have problems now with Virtu running the property. Its part of apartment living! I feel the new management has really been making the effort to fix the problems Greystar left and there???s only so much that can be done in one day! I live in an upgraded apartment and my wood floors were shot to hell and I was sick of looking at the condition they were in, I approached management and they were extremely friendly and understood my concerns and together we resolved the issue. I do feel that some of the leasing agents could really be a bit more attentive and could benefit from having half a brain but I feel that every time I have gone up to the office I???ve been treated with respect. But everyone has different opinions and that???s why this site exists.

I agree with Scotty - things happen. My only issues have been with some of the girls at the front desk. Every apartment will have issues, that's just how it works. The delay in getting things done has been rediculous, but from what I've seen, they've been playing catch up as best as they can. I don't know when new management took over, so they could be cleaning up house if the old management left things unbuttoned. However, that forum looks to be dead as a doornail.
