I'm glad I don't live there anymore. I gave them every chance.

When we first moved in a couple years ago or so, things were great. Everything was well kept, management was friendly and prompt on handling things, and overall, things just worked. Zero complaints. I am very easy to please, and quite understanding. I'm realistic, I'm a businessman myself, and I know things happen.
As I've learned, new management took over, just about the same time we started having lots of complaints about things. The gates have not worked since, they try to blame it on that car hitting the control panel, but they didn't work well before then. Sure there may be permits to get or something, I'm no expert, but I know a lack of caring when I see one. There has been "it'll be done by ..." notices time and time again for the past couple months. The gate isn't why I'm writing a bad review, it's just an example.
The reason for my poor review, is that some of the people at the front desk will LIE to your face without any shame, and are very immature and argumentative. There is simply no excuse for that. It has happened on multiple occasions. That may have just been the people I've deal with. They are puppets that put on smiles. I used to walk in, and they knew who I was, now they ask me who I am every time. Surprising since I was in there almost on a monthly basis.
They will nickel and dime you for every fee they can. Want to pay rent with your card' It's now something like 10 or 15 bucks. It used to be free. I'm not even sure as to the legality of that. We were what I like to think as the perfect tenants, and we still got some BS fines. I was stubborn enough to not end up paying them, but someone more easily pushed around won't argue with it. They just make more work for themselves by not handling things correctly in the first try. If they weren't so by the book and greedy, they would get much better reviews.
The maintenance guys are pretty good though (the ones I dealt with), as are the landscapers.
*edit*
I don't really have any concerns at the moment, and I do have confidence things will get better (new management has only been there what... a few months'). Just as of the moment while things are in limbo and getting sorted out, I can't recommend Bella Vida to anyone. I imagine the people who can't do their job, will be weeded out.
*update a year later*
They've gotten their game together a bit, so I've adjusted my rating. They're decent now, and haven't had any billing issues or anything like that, but there are still a few at the office that I don't know how they keep a customer service job. Looks like the staff is being changed over again though. Oh, and the gates work most of the time too.
Notice: They WILL up your rent, even if the market rate is not going up. Nothing shocking for apartments, just a heads up.
*update on move out*
THANK GOD we don't live there anymore. Adjusted my rating again.
- They tried to charge us for an extra week of us not even living there, after they said it was okay if we waiting a week to turn in our six week notice. After some BS, they decided to drop it.
- They charged us for cleaning a steam cleaned carpet. 120 bucks.
- They charged us for putting the power back into their name. 10 bucks. Not much, but seriously' That's pretty lame.
- Ask them about their pet fees. It's humorous.
We ended up not getting any of our deposit back, and still owing some. It wasn't enough to fight about, and I'm sure they know that. We paid it just to not have to deal with them anymore.
Good riddance. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

It would be nice if people had first hand experience of what happens up at the office. I am a resident here and have had plenty of interaction with the wonderful ladies up front. Each and everyone of them are nice and have been willing to help me out. For example, I had a problem with my rent and yesterday, myself and the assistant manager sat down and were able to get it all fixed. It was an easy mistake to make with all the payments and things going on. I understand that you can't get everything right on the first time every time but they are doing a HELL OF A GOOD JOB. As for the maintenance men, I agree that they are great, again the ones I have dealt with. They are kind and knowledgeable on fixing any problem that might come along. As for the "puppets with smiles" you're way off. They are all busting their asses in order to get this property in order. You have no idea what a bad property is. Visit Spring Creek Apartments for bad apartments. This place is fantastic. --Still the only apartment community to answer phones.--
----for the girls at the front office "THANK YOU".

"Manager" & bstewart25: (Possibly one in the same) Ho Hum.....
Dear original writer: I see that some of your comments were edited out. Perhaps if you reword or leave out full names or something it will get through (as you can edit your post). I would like to know what you were thinking. Thanks

Update 2 - Finally about to move out, but it seems they've upped their game a little bit. I haven't had any issues in a couple months. Aside from my neighbor that lets his dog poop on his patio and doesn't ever clean it up. *sigh*

I think its pittiful when you are down in your luck, lost your job, these horrible people don't care anything except to get their money..In this job climate, I unfortunately lost my job, lost my apartment, and had to move elsewhere. I explained this to these people, and all they did was give me letter stating that i moved out voluntarily and that they didn't approve of the move.. I had basically just left and didn't pay off my rental agreement.Well, this pretty much screwed me for any other apartment complex to help me.. Please if you can, move elsewhere before looking to move here.
