I am a resident there and I have been quite impressed with the way the new management staff has worked to turn some things that have always been negative now to positive. But there is one item that still needs a lot of work: now it seems like management (specifically Brandi and Misty) do not have time to listen to a resident's concerns. Case in point: I have been trying to get in touch with Misty about a problem I need to discuss with her and none of my phone calls have been returned. And now I tried to call again yesterday, 7/28/08, and I spoke to Heather and she informed me that Brandi and Misty were in meetings all day long and did not have time to meet with anyone. I'm sorry, but to me that is very unprofessional, especially since my now increased rent pays their salaries. I think if they want to maintain the atmosphere of trust and faith that is still on shaky ground, they would know they need to communicate with their residents, even when it may be inconvenient for them.

I have had the same problem with the same two people. I have been told by Misty before that she had not check her messages, but this went on for weeks. Or maybe that is what she told me just to blow off the situation.
Brandi has been a little more helpful, but at times there seems to be some unnecessary confusion of the situation on her part. But things were finally corrected to my satisfaction.

Same here - I had to go up to the office to get things done. I have never had a phone call returned. It's strange how they're "too busy", but if you think about it, what are they too busy to do? They're too busy to do their job.

Do not hold you breath waiting for the office staff to return your calls as they will not. Besides this, they will feed you what ever story line they can dream up to get you out of the office so they do not have to deal with any issues surrounding our community. They started off holding these town hall meetings but these are a big joke as not much of anything discussed at these meetings is ever done. The reason they have to raise our rents is because (if you have read your newsletters) the extensive staff now on board at Bella and the fact that they charge for any and everything. The new water company is just as expensive as the old one, and I learned when I got my renewal notice that they now charge for the bug spray they use on the outside of our buildings.
