I lived in this comunity for 21 months and since the new management company took over I have more issues then the first 15 months. During my time at Bella Vida The front end staff has declined in service and has made the dission not to renew my lease a easy one. in the past three months I have had
1. two after hours emergancies and never once after I had to resolve the issue myself did I see the mantance man 4 hours after I contacted them I requested that the apartment manager call me on my fith call and suprise I never heard from them.
2. The Gates have never worked I have a new remote but why do I need it the gates still do not work. When I asked about it I was given several excusses blaiming everyone from the lady that hit the booth the electric co the phone company hell I'll come run it if you cant get anyone else too.
3. The roofs were towrn off for how meny months and every time it was the insurance companys falt. not the fact that all the roofing supplies were sold out every where. My family is in construction and I know that just get the facts straight dont just push the blaim off on to someone else.
4. Decline of adminities, no conceairges service, no tee times, no gates, and most of all no service when you talk to the employees.
5. Change of water and mail boxes with out notices. Yea I got the mailing that the mail box was going to be changed but it had no date I was lucky that I had my mail on hold when it happened so I didnt have the issues that others did. I never was told that I was going to have the water changed till after it happened.
6. No communication from the front office. Though this happened just off primis we never received any information when a girl was shot in front of the complex. I was told by a friend of mine that saw it on the news.
7. everyone from the community uses the pool here even if they dont live in the complex. its nice to see cars taking up parking for the unit I'm in to use the pool and if you talk to them they live in the surounding houses.
8. Raising of rent but not enforcing the community codes. I see trash out days before trash day. newspapers infront of doors piles of them an apartment full of people, this one changes about every three weeks but the items in the apartment stay the same. I saw about 20 hispanic guys in the apartment once for about 60 days then it was empty for two weeks and then another hispanic cuple then a white cople then a singel hispanic guy now another hispanic couple. this was all with in my six month lease. But my lease went above the market price on line. This apartment had a bag of trash in front of it for two weeks and I complained three times but nothing happened so I took the trash out my self. I had a $30.00 increase after 6 months and only a $20.00 increase after 15 months.
9. Emergancy light do not work. After the storm that distroied the roofs I complained about this but when the power went out to the complex it still didnt work. at least most didnt some did they just need a light bulb.

this review is fairly unaccurate from anything that I have experienced at this complex. Granted you have lived here a lot longer than I have but I have never had the type of problems that you describe. Trash is very rarely put out early and is never missed by maintenance. The after hour emergency line is for Fire Flood or Blood. Anything other than that is not an emergency and can wait until the next day. Maintenance also has many other things to do than to fix just your apartment. You must put in a claim, either online or at the office. The girls ip front are great and there still is concierge service. Gates have not worked since day one of me living here either. The roofs dotake time to fix and they were fixed in a reasonable period of time. So rent does increase not just here but everywhere. You live at a nicer community than anywhere else in Plano so you do pay for that. Look at other complexes that are simarly priced and this place is much nicer.

Huh? What emergency lights? You mean we have some? Someone please explain! -- bstewart25: The roofs are still not repaired, since early spring, or do you think they left the bright blue plastic covers on the roofs for the heck of it? I see plenty of trash bags out on the curbs before they are supposed to be there. Emergency lines are for "Fire Flood or Blood"????? WHAT? If I were someone looking for an apartment to rent, I would be very confused about all of these issues and would look elsewhere. Or even consider renting a house because there is a "flood" of rental houses available now in this market and prices have decreased.

I noticed the emergency lights not working as well. Our building was pitch black. It's obvious the new management is running it into the ground, just look at all the reviews, they all say things were great until they (the new management) took over. They made my choice to renew very hard as well, but luckily I never have to talk to them much. When I do, I have to bite my tongue just to listen to all their lying. BStewart - Do you live in some alternate universe? Every negative review you basically say the people are crazy, and all their claims are unsubstantiated. I think you may be living in another complex that has a similar name.

Ask the people in the office or look it up in the new archives. They said that she did not live in the complex and was on the side walk. I never was told if the people were cought or what happened. Scary stuff happens everywhere and I never had anything bad happen to myself in the almost two years there but it would have been nice to know whats happening around the area and what the complex is doing to keep the residents safe.

bsteWART - you are like a WART - ugly and full of crap. if you have not noticed any trash put out on non trash days it is because the WART on the end of your nose is covering up your eyes. Also, how much is Brandi paying you to contradict every negative response on this site? Perhaps a FREE apt. Anyway, whatever it is - wake up and smell the coffee and get off your high horse.

I really don't understand why people have to offend other people, and they don't even know them. If you don't have the ball's to show who you are, but sit there and offend people then you have not reason to even put in your thoughts here. I agree with bsteWART the property is a great place to live, why don't you people go to the office and put your feet into there shoes. This way you can get a taste of what they do everyday. If you don't know what property managemant is and the everyday issues they have to deal with then you have no reason to say anything. I think you offending people is childish and rude. No one ever offended you or called you any names. This is a site for options not name calling.
