I do miss the old people that used to work here like Hollie, Lisa, and the gang. They always seemed so much nicer and helpful if we ever had an issue. It seems like we have had more issues since the new management and employees have come in. They do not seem to care when we have an issue, and about 99% of the time they are rude. They have only returned one phone call after I said I was going to start calling people higher than the manager of the complex.
For example, one time they double charged us on rent and ruined our vacation b/c of it. The most frustrating part was that we were told they had not received the check even though we had sent it a week early, and found out later, we had signature confirmation that it was picked up before the due date. When we called to confirm they had received it, we were told they had not gotten the letter and check. So, in order to ensure that our rent was not late, I gave them my bank info so that they could take the rent out before it was due. Since we did not have access to the Internet, we could not check on the delivery so my wife had shortages on her bank account b/c they got her check days before we gave them my bank number. Now we were both short. I am not sure about you guys, but we cannot afford to have an extra $2,000 out of our accounts for a week. Therefore, about 50% of the vacation had to be cut out b/c we did not have enough money to do all the activities. However, when we came home from our vacation, we learned that the check had been deposited early, prior to us calling, and prior to the due date. All I got was we re sorry. No statements of I hope there was no inconvenience b/c you guys were out of extra money or I hope you still had a good vacation and is there anything we can do to help since it interfered with our vacation.
Our current issue again involves the staff saying something was all our fault and the old staff did not do the job right. They did not seem interested in coming to a resolution, rather they came across in their tone and language as we are doing the job right so deal with it the right way or get out. I felt like I was doing my best not to be mad or rude and even said I am sorry for being a little mad. I only got an I am sorry from one girl, and the rest of the staff was rude.
Other concerns I have include seeing more cop cars in this place, and on two occasions, they were stopped at apartments for a major incident rather than too much partying at night. I also see trash on people s patios and on the sidewalk for days, and a few of them live close to me. :( Also, people put trash out the night before trash pick-up, and by the time I get home, I see the trash bags opened and trash pulled out b/c animals have gotten into them. Now, let s not talk how people leave the dog stuff on the grass. You know if you could get at least $5 from each issue I would never have to pay my rent. :) Even though there are supposed to be fines for these violations, I don t see them being enforced.
If the employees would just really work or do what they say they are going to do, then I would not have as many issues. I would like to add some good stuff but the only thing I can think of is the showing of the Dallas football game on the last Sunday of the month. I have not made one yet, but if it s anything like the poker nights, which are no longer fun, I don t want to go, but I am always up for trying something new. The only good thing I guess would be the complex still looks nice just like when we moved in.
