Rated One Star: "Parking is a total nightmare" We do not have an assigned space. There is not enough parking. I live in building 3 which is 2 levels, and people from the apartments across from us (buildings 5,6) park in our spaces as they have less parking available to them as they are 3 story buildings. My car was towed last night as I could not find a space at all, not even near the front gate. I parked in front of a garage that is just used as a "storage unit". When I got up at 6:00 a.m. I saw my car was gone. I called the complex this morning and was told that they have adequate parking, and there had to have been a spot "somewhere" in the complex. What' This is a large complex!!! (It is so large that there are several different address here, 9601 Custer, 9607, 9611, are there others'').... I explained that I would not have felt safe to walk around several buildings to get to mine at 11:00 p.m. at night. Now I have called "Choice Towing" and have to pay $168.30 cash to get my car back, and after midnight that price goes up $50.00, and every day after that it goes up $21.65. WHY are we not entitled to at least ONE alloted space per apartment' Maybe the more people who complain to the manager they will finally do something. This is just NOT fair at all. I am missing work and my child did not get to school today. MORE INFO: In reference to HonestyIsAVirtue: "It's just a person thinking they're above having to park with the rest of everyone else dealing with poor parking and getting towed." ......
("Honesty" knows some particulars that only the staff person I spoke with this morning would know. DUH!) I parked in front of ONE garage that is used as a storage unit only, not anything else. I am not above anyone else, I just want ONE place to park. Also, people from the other buildings regularly park in front of our building, it is not only once a day or a week, it is a constant thing. MANY do this daily. Go and see this for yourself at the end of the day. Maybe if we just had something to tell what building we lived at, and could only park by our own building then more people would properly complain (not that I really blame the people from other buildings parking here as they are just having the same problems parking as I am.) Before this staff took over there was assigned parking wasn't there' At least I know you had to have a sticker on your car for Bella Vida. I know it is first come first served, but I should not have to park MANY buildings away and have to walk that far at night. That is a safety issue..... PLEASE if you have these same issues please complain in writing to the management. Even the towing company person advised me & for other tenants to do that. They said if we had assigned spaces then if someone was in your space that you could call the towing company and get the car removed. I say that is a better way for them to make their money! :o) Basically, there is just not enough parking. In one apartment in my building 4 adults just moved in, that means 4 cars for that one apartment (I have seen the cars).... UPDATE: I went to pick up my car tonight and brought cash. Unfortunately I did have to go when it was already dark. And yes it was very scary. There were hardly no lights on either. You had to walk up to a window from the outside and you could not even see the person inside as they had mirror tape or whatever that is up on this window. I brought $180 cash and since it was a cash business I assumed that they would have change. They did not, and I was so frightened by the entire ordeal that I just said to keep it because I just wanted my car. Once I signed the form and showed my ID I was told to go back to the gate which was in the dark. I asked if there were any lights back there and they guy said "sort of". Well, not really. I had to use my car remote so it would beep so I would know where it was. My friend and I were both creeped out by this place. When I got back to my apartment tonight there was a parking space up near the front gate at least, there must have been a party or something going on last night. Of course there was not a parking space to be had in front of my building. Wheeeeewww, what an ordeal.

Wait until you get a look at "Choice Towing". OMG! Scary. Shadiest operation I have ever had to deal with. My car was towed from MY driveway in front of MY garage (no fire zone) for expired tags. With no notice on my door, knock on the door, NOTHING. It was just GONE. It had been there for less than an hour. 3 good words for you... End of lease.

So, you parked in front of some garages, probably on a fire lane, and complain about getting towed? I agree some parts of the complex have poor parking (mine had TONS of empty spots) but this isn't the complex making money off towing you, they probably didn't even call the towing company. It's just a person thinking they're above having to park with the rest of everyone else dealing with poor parking and getting towed.

I would agree with HonestyIsAVirtue where i live there is tons of open spaces but the building next to me have very little parking spaces. I see people walk about one or two building at least once a week. All i can think is sucks to be them. We lucked out to live in the back where all the parking is open. Even though we have at least three boats parked in the space and 99% dont move for months. Just take of space and that is rude.
As far as management goes its a hit and miss. If they dont have to do any where work then they are great but OMG if they have to do a little work they can't do it or its like pulling teeth. They are really lazy at this place at least this round of people are.
BTW, on parking in front of a garage, i see at least one car there a night by our building. Its normally gone time i leave for work. Not sure if its gets toed or they left. As far as the toe company, they drive around the building at least once or twice a week. I see them almost everyone tiem coming home on friday or sat night about 1am - 2am.
