We moved into these apartments from out of state after at the first complex we had signed a lease with, our apartment flooded TWICE! I will say in the beginning there were a couple issues with maintenance. First experience was great, the dishwasher flooded and they were there in 2 minutes. However, we had an issue with the bathroom vent/fan, it smelled like someone had smoked in there for 20 years. It took REPEATED calls and in-person visits over a period of two weeks to get it cleaned, but they did. There are issues with parking, but the complex is safe so I don't worry about it too much. I can usually find a spot near the short walkway behind my apartment. The apartments are spacious, the walls are pretty solid. I have lived in some places where you can hear people cough, but I don't hear my neighbors at all unless they turn their music up really loud. I have had that problem a couple times here and have called security and they've taken care of it quickly. The trash pickup is kind of a pain, having to put it out between 6-8 since we don't work normal business hours, but there is a trash compactor we can take it too. And the grounds maintenance is great, they come and pick up trash and dog poop everyday. I'm thankful for that as many residents here don't seem to be respectful enough to pick up their dog's mess. We have lived in many apartment complexes and my opinion is that this is a good place to live. You will find parking, noise and maintenance issues in just about any apartment complex. I would recommend living here.

Sounds like some of the issue you had at your "other" complex is issue people/we have here.
