Bentley Place at Willow Bend formerly Wynde Bentley
AVERAGE RATING

I have lived there for more than 2 years and from the first night on I was very miserable from the noise coming from upstairs. The construction quality of the building s are very poor...walls are like paper...and you hear each and every step, and every cough from upstairs.
I had a misterious white powder in my carpet which have had clogged my vacuum cleaner everytime I have used. Although I demanded it many times, the management have not changed the carpet (and, we continued to breathe that powder).
Now, finally I am out of that place, and they are demanding the expenses for that I have no idea who had done it (I am sure that it was not me).
Safety is an issue - mails from mailboxes have been stolen.
Anyway, go somewhere else, and have less headache.

I disagree with the statement of the poor construction of the Apartments. I have lived in several different Apartments over the years and by far Bentley Place is the best constructed and does not have paper thin walls. Yes, sometimes you can hear your neighbors, but that is Apartment living. This person says they lived at Bentley for more than 2 years. If they were that unhappy why did they stay here? Looks like a response from a disgruntled person because they received charges for something when they moved out. I love the professional staff in the office. The maintenance staff is great. The property is beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend Bentley Place.

Of course you would say you love the professional staff in the office because you are one of the staff members. That response looks word for word like other responses to bad ratings on several different apartment complexes. You are not fooling anybody. Oh and by the way the staff is so unbelievably rude and incompetent that I feel my intelligence dwindling every time I have to talk to them.

Nope, sorry pal, Bentley is a great place sorry you feel otherwise. Living in an apartment is just that...living in an apartment. If you pay $4000 a month and want to move into a high rise with concrete floors and have a bellman maybe your service and experience will be that much better. When you pay under $1000 a month to live here, in the scheme of things what do you expect. I don't expect much more than a safe place to call home that is maintained and Bentley is surely maintained. Perhaps you should move to that $4,000 a month place and stop bitching.

That misterious powder was anthrax, put there by the apartment staff in hopes you would be confused and inventually succumb to the toxin!

I completely agree with this review-and am having the same exact problems-yes-we did go to college-but Im questioning how much we learned after getting conned into moving here.... Even though we have our thermostat set to 76 degrees-it is constantly over 80 degrees in the apartment. When we call management-they seem to be concerned-but never actually do anything but clean the unit and change the filter-even after we tell them that it didn't help-they sent a guy over to say there is nothing else they could do. So, because of the poor quality of the buildings and limitations of management-we are stuck paying hundreds of dollars in electricity every month. The gates are not always working-which is a safety issue. And not to be too personal-but there were a couple of times when we would go to the office-and the staff would be dressed inappropriately-children do not need to know or see what kind of undergarments the office staff are wearing. The cleanliness of the place is a major issue as well. When we moved in-there was feces (human poo to use the vernacular) all over the master bathroom, mold in the vast majority of the cabinets, dark hair plastered to the wall where they painted without cleaning, food particles and dust everywhere-I have pictures to prove it as well. When we moved in-one of the maintenance guys broke our bookcase and threw it into the living room-on top of our flat screen and computer. When I simply asked what happened-the guy got into my face. He scared me so badly that I called my husband and asked him to come home. Later-we installed motion sensor cameras-and found that they entered our apartment without our knowledge and without giving us any notification. We pay for water-and yet-there were multiple times throughout the summer months where the complex was flooded because THEIR sprinkler system broke-guys-WE PAID FOR THAT WATER! Please-if you do not want to pay an outrageous amount for utilities and want a clean environment for you're family-Think twice before moving here!
