I lived at Bentley Place from July 2005 - September 2006 and I absolutely loved it there. The only reason I moved is because I received a promotion and was transferred out of state. Bentley Place is by far the best apartment community I have ever lived in. Everyone there is very friendly. The management was great, though the leasing agents did change quite often. (I miss Doug! He was the best!) The maintenance staff is absolutely wonderful and responded to requests immediately. They even helped me hang my curtains! Very nice guys. They also had a lot of community activities. Wine and Cheese was my favorite!

Honestly, I have a hard time believing some of the bad reviews. That was not my experience at all. The apartment grounds are beautiful, my apartment itself was very nice, and the rent was affordable. (Though from the pricing guide on here, it definitely seems like rent has skyrocketed')

I was back in Plano on business a month ago and stopped in. I saw that they either bought new chairs and umbrellas at the pool or had them restripped. The pool looked great!

I have nothing but good things to say about Bentley Place. I really miss living there!

I disagree with this review-Even though we have our thermostat set to 76 degrees-it is constantly over 80 degrees in the apartment. When we call management-they seem to be concerned-but never actually do anything but clean the unit and change the filter-even after we tell them that it didn't help-they sent a guy over to say there is nothing else they could do. The cleanliness of the place is a major issue as well. When we moved in-there was feces (human poo to use the vernacular) all over the master bathroom, mold in the vast majority of the cabinets, dark hair plastered to the wall where they painted without cleaning, food particles and dust everywhere-I have pictures to prove it as well. We pay for water-and yet-there were multiple times throughout the summer months where the complex was flooded because THEIR sprinkler system broke-guys-WE PAID FOR THAT WATER! When we moved in the maintenence guy broke our bookcase and threw it into the living room with our flats screen and computers. Then procedeeded to get into my face when I simply asked what happened...He scared me enough that I called my husband and asked him to come home. Please-if you do not want to pay an outrageous amount for utilities and want a clean environment for you're family-Think twice before moving here!
