Maintenance is a joke.
When lease expired they were going to raise my rent over $100. I now work with someone who said that he lived here also and they raised his rent $300!! Not worth it. Besides an attached garage on some floorplans, the apartments have no "frills" at all!

Don't take this posting seriously. I used to work at Bentley Place and know for a fact that Management would never increase a Resident's rent that much for no reason. Either this was agreed to as part of a move in special where the rent was discounted for a certain lease term knowing that when the lease term expired the rent would revert back to Market or you were extremely below current Market. Bentley Place is definitley worth it!!! There are Residents that have remained at Bentley for several years and have said that Management and Maintenance continue to improve and is the best it has been in years. Visit Bentley and decide for yourself.

I haven't had issue with the rent increase amount-as yet...but wanted to add some other concerns. Even though we have our thermostat set to 76 degrees-it is constantly over 80 degrees in the apartment. When we call management-they seem to be concerned-but never actually do anything but clean the unit and change the filter-even after we tell them that it didn't help-they sent a guy over to say there is nothing else they could do. So, because of the poor quality of the buildings and limitations of management-we are stuck paying hundreds of dollars in electricity every month. The gates are not always working-which is a safety issue. And not to be too personal-but there were a couple of times when we would go to the office-and the staff would be dressed inappropriately-children do not need to know or see what kind of undergarments the office staff are wearing. The cleanliness of the place is a major issue as well. When we moved in-there was feces (human poo to use the vernacular) all over the master bathroom, mold in the vast majority of the cabinets, dark hair plastered to the wall where they painted without cleaning, food particles and dust everywhere-I have pictures to prove it as well. We pay for water-and yet-there were multiple times throughout the summer months where the complex was flooded because THEIR sprinkler system broke-guys-WE PAID FOR THAT WATER! Please-if you do not want to pay an outrageous amount for utilities and want a clean environment for you're family-Think twice before moving here!
