I have lived at Bentley Place at Willow Bend for 6 Years. I can say that the Staff that is headed by the Community Director Theresa is wonderful, quick to respond to problems and is alway willing to help a resident with any outstanding issures. I would also like to add that the maintenance staff headed by Sean is quick, courteous and professional. I have never waited for more than 1 day to have any of my issures repaired such as a water heater, dishwasher or icebox. My rent is reasonable and the property is beauteful.

Ok, I agree with the initial positive review, but here are my objective observations: Teresa strikes me as professional and nice, albeit relatively fake nice. I have to say that David has usually assisted me, and he is always extremely helpful. I will say that I have noticed some of the other staff members in the leasing office seem like completely incompetent morons. I have gone in on several occasions to pay rent, etc. and a few of the girls that work there could definitely work on their phone etiquette and professionalism. The grounds are relatively well-kept and clean. This is apartment living, so my expectations are somewhat low in this regard. There are some 'ghetto' looking people walking around every now and then, but that's probably true anywhere. When I moved in my apartment was definitely clean. They had cleaned the carpet, painted, replaced the counters, etc. I have not experienced them attempting to 'overcharge' for every little thing. They have not attempted to overcharge me at all. I will say that I have seen some bugs in my apartment, and I wish they sprayed more often for roaches. I had to purchase ant killer on my own to get rid of them. I wish the cigarette smoke from the tenants above me didn't filter through the vents, it's disgusting. Please keep in mind that this is a suburban apartment complex, look on this site, and you will see that even the 3k/month luxury apartments in uptown Dallas have countless complaints. There are going to be complaints at any apartment complex, this one seems decent in comparison. At least it isn't in the white trash ghetto. Overall, it's adequate depending on the rent you pay and whether or not you get a special deal. I'm sure they will raise my rent next year, which is the only reason I won't renew when my lease is up. I just think it's not worth much more than I'm paying now.

Who paid you to say these things? Therese is not wonderful, when I had several problems too numerous to list all she did was laugh in my face. She is very rude and does not care what happens. I do have to agree that Sean is quick, courteous and professional and so is Barry but they are the only ones at Bentley Place that are. Having Sean here is they only way I have gotten anything taken care of. The rent is not reasonable for this level of service. I pay for service and feel like I live in the ghetto. I can not wait to move out!!!!!!! I just hope they don't screw me over yet again when I do move out.

Anonymous, You can be sure they will screw you over. They screwed me and a few others in the apartment complex. They will find every little excuse to over charge you. You will see very little of your deposit if any. Good luck though.

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU READ! Reading the above responses I just have to say that Teresa is genuinely the best Manager I have ever had at any Apartment Community that I have ever lived at in the past 20 years.. Teresa is strict with enforcing the Community Rules to keep this place from going to pot. It is unbelievable that anyone would not be happy to have her as a Manager unless they have violated Community rules or asked for things that are not reasonable and did not hear what they wanted to hear from her. As far as being screwed over here it is absolutely untrue. Many people that I know that have lived at here at Bentley received all of their deposit back. Probably you feel screwed because you damaged your Apartment or did not pay your bills. Yes, the maintenance staff, Sean and Barry provide excellent service. You at least got that right. If you want reasonable rent in a great location, efficient service, very professional and competent, friendly staff. Choose Bentley Place!!!!

Despite Theresa's "Fake Nice"-which is true-but lets face it-we are not here to be friends-we want that professionalism. I disagree with the above review-and to respond to the true point of the site and review...yes-we did go to college-but Im questioning how much we learned after getting conned into moving here.... Even though we have our thermostat set to 76 degrees-it is constantly over 80 degrees in the apartment. When we call management-they seem to be concerned-but never actually do anything but clean the unit and change the filter-even after we tell them that it didn't help-they sent a guy over to say there is nothing else they could do. So, our AC unit never turns off, and we are getting stuck with hundreds of dollars for elctricity every month. The cleanliness of the place is a major issue as well. When we moved in-there was feces (human poo to use the vernacular) all over the master bathroom, mold in the vast majority of the cabinets, dark hair plastered to the wall where they painted without cleaning, food particles and dust everywhere-I have pictures to prove it as well. We pay for water-and yet-there were multiple times throughout the summer months where the complex was flooded because THEIR sprinkler system broke-guys-WE PAID FOR THAT WATER! Please-if you do not want to pay an outrageous amount for utilities and want a clean environment for you're family-Think twice before moving here! And btw-even though it's no one elses business-I feel we should state that we have never been a day late in any of our bills-since that seems to be a point that some want to accuse others of. We like our wonderful credit scores and choose to keep it that way!
