The staff at The Brentdale is AMAZING!!! When I walk in they're always standing up to greet people and it seems like they remember everyone's name. Yes, the apartments are old, but whwnever I have maintenence issues they are always taken care of!! I HAVE NEVER HAD A ROACH PROBLEM AND PEOPLE THAT USUALLY DO ARE DIRTY THEMSELVES!!

You know, I'm happy for you for not having ever had a roach problem here. Good for you. I definitely agree that dirty people have roaches, but I'm not ignorant enough not to notice that an old place like this is more prone to having them. We're all living on top of each other, and I'm sure there are some dirty people here. All I'm trying to do by posting my message is warn others that this place is infested. I've been here 3 months and have a crawling infant...I keep my home immaculate. In fact, I can guarantee you it is cleaner than when I moved in, for the simple fact that I have a baby! All I'm trying to do is warn others that this place is infested...and they still haven't exterminated... You shouldn't insult people you don't know anything about. Karma's gonna kick your butt when you find a roach in your apartment, too.

The first day we moved in we had a roach crawling all over the kitchen counters. Later that month, we had another roach occurrence. I seriously doubt that it's our fault for this problem as we are clean and keep the little pantry food we have sealed in airtight containers. We have had other bugs that come crawling in under the front door because there is this gap there left from the disintegrated weather stripping. The handy man just slapped a piece of plastic to the bottom of the inside side of the door to remedy that... which it didn't. In fact we're getting little baby geckos that skitter into our place. The geckos are pretty cool, but our cats will eat them if we're not there to stop them :(
