I've been here 8 years. It was never haute-couture. It was affordable and still is, and close to Tom Thumb, but service has nose-dived, there are parts of building sidings gone, extremely slow repairs, and mostly NO repairs. There is now gang graffiti on the brick. The pool may or may not work. The last two summers it was closed more than open. The pool volley ball net is gone. The hot sauna pool hasn't worked in 5 years. The tennis and volley ball courts haven't seen nets in years. For about 3 years, there wasn't even a full-time office person. More rough types are hanging around, whipping through the parking lot like it was the Indy 500 and booming high-base music at all times. I am on the bottom floor and somehow a leak came through the center of the ceiling. And I fear when someone new moves in upstairs as when they shower in the master bath, it leaks through our ceiling. Management asked the last guy to just shower in the hall bath! Yeah, that'll fix it! One positive thing I can say is that they do have the bug man come spray religiously, and that's because it's REALLY NEEDED! The walls have shifted so much that we have cracks and peeling paint. Frankly, I cannot afford the other rents in the area and the ones I see that are somewhat affordable are not in much better shape and have their own problems.
