Well, what can I say . . . I love Plano, and Camden LP isn't a bad place at all, especially for the price I pay to get a 1,070 sf apt., washer/dryer (incl.), 2-bed/2-bath apt., with a built-in garage. Overall, it's been a pretty nice experience. I'll be leaving soon, but only because of other life changes, and I sure hate to be leaving. (i'm pretty comfy there.) Here's my own little list of goods/bads:
- Great floorplans
- Great initial incentives
- Monthly (or bi) Social functions
- Excellent maintenance. / quick & very attentive
- Fairly attractive grounds (very 'suburban landscaped' looking)
- Fairly quiet (sometimes, you never see people)
- Decent ('great') staff
- Minutes away from Frisco/Stonebriar
- Bugs - i've got some crazy critters crawlin'
- 'Occasional' next door noise (not much though)
- Multicultural - which is good and bad (a few undesirables moving in lately)
- Nice pool area (i never use it.)
- Nice (but small) workout room
- Nice area, but too many useless businesses popping up (do we really need another 'Kwik Kar'')
- Tenants leave trash out on non-trash days (you learn to live with it.)
- Floorplan 'weirdness' (i could do without a closet in the bathroom, and a big bedroom window that looks directly into my bathroom.)
- A few recent break-ins (i couldn't believe it when i started getting these notices)
It's a nice place.
I'll miss it.
