I've been here since September. Nice property and nice folks running the office. Fairly prompt attention to resolving the usual issues (appliances, repairs, etc.)

HOWEVER, there is one problem over which, unfortunately, management has no control.

The telephone, cable television, and data (DSL) services are provided by a company called Grande Communications. You may purchase your individual or packaged services through Grande, or in the case of telephone service, deal directly with Verizon (which is Grande's connection to the outside world in any event.) Heaven help you if you contract with Verizon and have problems with your line (voice and/or DSL.) You will get into a finger-pointing session that has no end. Grande has no vested interest in helping you, if you are not their customer. The apartments here are old enough that there is bound to be problems with the building wiring, which seems to be the case. I've heard of but not spoken with other tenants with the same intermittent line problems. You won't get DSL speeds anywhere near what's advertised, and may even lose a phone call once in a while (line goes dead.) I may have to drop Verizon and go directly with Grande, but so far I'm not impressed with their attitude.

Don't blame the complex or management, because they actually don't have control over the wiring, it's all owned by Grande. Also, Verizon has been bending over backward to help me, but can only go so far (the demarcation with Grande.)

If you need hi-tech or even just plain phone service, renter beware.
