We have lived at Camden Legacy Park for nearly 2 years and continue to love it. We were sad to see John Marc go, but the office staff is still friendly and courteous.
I was disappointed to see so many complaints, so I had to comment for those looking for a new place. So here is an honest overview of the complex.
When we went looking on this site for a good place this complex was the only one with an above 90% rating in the area. That should say something as most of the office staff hasn't changed. But I do think that overall, those who pay the rent on time and follow the rules in general won't have any problems that won't be corrected immediately.
Parking isn't the best for those who have more than one vehicle and use their garage for storage, like us, but it is a much shorter walk than any mall or super store. Plus the walk is pleasant and quiet. Often we see bunnies munching away at the shrubs. We enjoy this small glimpse of nature, making the short walk more enjoyable. In the summer it is also wonderful to see the neighborhood kids actually playing outside too! It's a real community!
Shortly after moving in, during a very cold spell, we did have a mouse come into the garage. With one call to the office, the problem was corrected immediately. Every possible place an animal could get into our entire complex was spotted by the exterminator and fixed immediately. The exterminator even had a lengthy discussion with my husband who was home during the visit. He happily and openly shared with us all the details. We have since had no problem. With this complex so close to a field and new building construction nearby, any warm place becomes a beacon for small critters looking for a warm place to nest. With this said, in the summer we have seen a wondering ant, but nothing more than a typical house spider. Even then, that little guy was in the garage.
As for the person who was towed. I am sure your vehicle was one of the few that extended out into the drive (with possible extended trailer hitch), which made it impossible for your neighbors to safely get into their own garages or park their own cars in their driveway. Let alone drive through the complex safely. When first visited the complex, we were told each driveway is sized according to the layout of the grounds, so some are shorter than others. We viewed and leased a unit that fit both of our cars. When we viewed the apartment, the office staff was nice enough offer and let us take the time to actually park our longest car in the driveway. The staff even checked themselves just to make sure the car wouldn't be towed. The staff is so friendly and helpful!
If you are a courteous person and always aware of others around you, the complex will be wonderful for you and your family. We appreciate all that the leasing staff has done for us in making our apartment the safe home we look forward to each night. :)

So many complaints?
You must be used to pretty bad apartments before this. If there was no complains you would have even more to worry about. At least you know what you are getting into when moving here and things for the apartment to work on.
Small glimpse of nature?
What ?
Yeah there are bunnies but there is nothing nature about it..
